Position Overview:

Role: Night Auditor

As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing revenue and settling accounts each night. This role includes maintaining accurate files and resetting the system for the following day while also fulfilling Guest Service Agent responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct bookkeeping tasks, including account balancing and nightly audits.
  • Maintain records of room availability and guest accounts, utilizing both manual and computerized systems.
  • Prepare and distribute daily financial reports.
  • Audit and reconcile cashiers' transactions.
  • Timely audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit card transactions.
  • Input and update financial data into the BRAINS network.
  • Check guests in and out while performing Guest Service Agent duties.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any complaints.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and strive to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Adhere to sustainability practices in line with HHMs EarthView program.
  • Follow safe work protocols and utilize protective safety equipment.
  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in night auditing or accounting, or equivalent training is required.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, particularly Excel, along with strong arithmetic skills.
  • FSD certification is advantageous and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

Work Environment:

  • Work schedule may vary, including weekends and holidays.
  • Position requires standing for extended periods, walking, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching.
