Volt is seeking a remote Senior Financial Analyst.
As a Senior Financial Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

assisting in the Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecast, and Monthly Close processes while collaborating with various leaders to enhance efficiencies and align with strategic goals.

Key deliverables encompass the preparation and analysis of executive-level reporting packages, coordinating data collection across departments, and evaluating risk and opportunity ranges for initiatives and guidance.

This role is pivotal and highly visible within the team, performing comprehensive companywide analysis and consolidation to support the executive leadership team and contribute to the overall planning and forecasting processes.

Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will analyze, report, and support the performance of Corporate Support functions, showcasing a strong ability to interpret, analyze, and communicate complex business challenges while identifying areas for enhancement.

Essential skills include problem-solving, prioritization, and meticulous attention to detail.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to plan for future expenditures and headcount
  • Input all necessary data into the financial planning system
  • Prepare AOP presentations to communicate vital information to stakeholders
Quarterly Forecast (30%) and Intra-Quarter Trending:
  • Facilitate the collection of forecast inputs from various regions and business units, ensuring alignment of key assumptions and drivers
  • Develop forecast reporting files by building and updating data queries and relevant summaries
  • Conduct variance analysis to maintain an environment of transparency for senior leadership
Monthly Close & Reconciliation (30%):
  • Prepare and submit journal entries for accruals, reclassifications, and allocations
  • Analyze and reconcile actuals to forecasts with a clear understanding of variances
Process Improvement (10%):
  • Drive standardization and evolution of the financial planning system to enhance efficiencies and meet business needs
  • Assist in automating standard processes and reporting to alleviate reporting burdens and increase analytical capacity
This is a full-time remote contract opportunity.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
Prior Experience: 4+ years in accounting or finance, preferably within a publicly traded company.

  • Exceptional quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Ability to thrive and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication, writing, and presentation abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating and consolidating inputs across multiple functions
  • High standards of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic, multitasking environment
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with financial planning systems preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of general accounting and financial planning principles
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the video game, software, technology, or entertainment industries
  • A genuine passion for video games

Compensation:
$55.00-$60.00/hr based on experience.
