To be successful in this role, candidates must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures, as well as experience with financial software and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
  • Utilize CalATERS Global and Financial Information for California (FI$Cal) to manage financial transactions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and compliance with financial regulations.

Working Conditions

The role involves daily computer use, interacting with office equipment, and occasional travel in California. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
