Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide engineering assistance for a U.S. military Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative. In this capacity, you will collaborate with FMS Structural Engineers, utilizing the latest System Safety (SS) and Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) data. Your role will involve organizing discussions with Structural Engineers to identify engineering requirements and propose effective engineering solutions.

Additionally, you will engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various disciplines and participate in SS and ASIP events to gather and disseminate current information within the FMS community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the review process for all partner and FMS customer quarterly Airframe Service Life CDRLs, including Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) reports, structural certification reports, Loads and Environmental Spectra Survey (LESS) reports, and system certification plans.
  • Oversee the annual Force Structural Maintenance Plan (FSMP) CDRL tailored for each operating customer, utilizing the Airframe Team Inbox for routing and approval tracking.
  • Facilitate approval voting via email with the JPO Document Management team regarding data housed in the Joint Strike Fighter Data Library (JDL).
  • Attend Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Engineering Change boards, and Configuration boards to stay informed and provide input on airframe modifications impacting FMS variants.
  • Brief FMS stakeholders on proposed changes and necessary accommodations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an engineering capacity.
  • At least 5 years of experience in aircraft design, integration, or modification, encompassing aircraft structures, electrical and mechanical systems, or airborne weapons systems integration.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation:

At Booz Allen, we recognize your contributions and provide a competitive compensation package that includes health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits, along with paid leave and professional development opportunities. The projected salary range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000 annually, reflecting various factors such as location, education, and experience.
