About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Modeling Engineer to join our team at Sedaro. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and modeling complex systems, developing simulation software, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive innovation and improve system performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Model Complex Systems: Develop and implement efficient simulation engines to capture complex subsystem interdependencies in aerospace systems.
  • Develop Simulation Software: Build powerful, highly interoperable solutions that can be used by engineers across multiple industries.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to design innovative solutions, improve system performance, and drive business growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously learn and apply new technologies, algorithms, and models to stay ahead of the curve in aerospace engineering.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience developing models of physical systems, designing and implementing simulation software, and collaborating with teams.
  • Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Rust, MATLAB/Simulink, and TypeScript/Javascript; experience with analytics, testing, and crash reporting; and knowledge of AI/ML and natural language processing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and validating simulation software for aerospace applications.
  • Experience with gaming engines such as Unity or Unreal, and cloud-native software development.
