Our Vascular Surgery outpatient clinic is in search of a motivated LPN who possesses a keen eye for detail to become a vital member of our healthcare team. The LPN will deliver nursing assistance to all practitioners within the clinic.

This role involves collaborating with the healthcare team to provide patient information that influences the planning, directing, delivering, and assessing of patient care.

The LPN will function as a direct care nurse, engaging in essential duties that include:


Key Responsibilities:
+ Accurately measure and document patients' vital signs
+ Record relevant aspects of patients' medical history
+ Communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, visitors, and colleagues
+ Assist in in-office procedures under the guidance and supervision of a licensed healthcare professional
+ Conduct diagnostic CLIA waived testing
+ Perform venipuncture for laboratory blood draws
+ Manage prescription call-backs within the scope of practice
+ Prepare patient charts with necessary clinical information
+ Maintain supply inventory and ensure patient examination rooms are well-stocked
+ Comply with regulatory standards and policies

Minimum Qualifications:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Current NYS license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
+ Prior experience in a patient care environment is preferred
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to effectively convey information and respond to inquiries from physicians, patients, and their families or other staff members within the clinical setting.
