Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Growth Leader to join our team at Custom Microwave. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and executing our business development strategy, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and driving growth in our space applications business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Business Strategy
    • Establish and grow strong partnerships with key stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs, and organizational vision.
    • Gain a deep understanding of our technical capabilities and applications.
    • Grasp current opportunities, pipeline, and strategy.
    • Lead capture strategy for key opportunities.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships
    • Strengthen and establish customer relationships and engagement, resulting in deeper customer exposure.
    • Develop strategic business development vision, strategy, and execution plan.
  • Lead and Align People and Performance
    • Full command over the market, including where the next growth and expansion opportunities exist.
    • Lead and align people and performance with strategy.
    • Accountable for near- and long-term strategy, captures, growth, and customer relationship management.
Requirements
  • Technical Aptitude
    • Deep understanding of space markets and environments.
    • Deep understanding of antenna systems and RF payload.
  • Relationship Management
    • Proven track record of delivering remarkable sales growth.
    • Current or existing relationships with traditional and non-traditional space suppliers.
    • Experience working with SDA and NRO payloads.
  • Education and Experience
    • BS in Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related.
    • Minimum of 10 years of direct work within the space marketspace.
    • Minimum of 5 years in strategic business development with a track record of successful captures within the space market.
    • Minimum 2 years in a leadership role.
    • Existing or past Secret Clearance or Top Secret Clearance preferred.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance required.
    • Must provide proof of US Citizenship or Permanent Residency to comply with ITAR/EAR requirements.
    • Ability to pass a drug screen per Custom Microwave's drug testing policy.
    • Ability to pass a criminal background check per Custom Microwave's policy.

    • Annualized base salary of $170,000-$215,000 based on qualifications and experience.
