Position Overview:


We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing best practices and standards for open-source software, specifically focusing on the deployment of CVS Linux derivatives.

Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing software components in collaboration with our hardware engineering teams, ensuring that our infrastructure platforms operate with maximum reliability and efficiency.

As a key contributor, you will facilitate the ongoing enhancement and scalability of our Linux-based infrastructure.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deploy Linux-based infrastructure solutions that align with CVS Health's operational and strategic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define and document software patterns and standards for open-source hardware.
  • Assess software requirements and evaluate potential solutions to guarantee compatibility with CVS Linux derivatives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to stay abreast of emerging technology trends and integrate them into our Linux infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure challenges, focusing on performance optimization, system tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including software developers and security personnel, to maintain the integrity, performance, and reliability of our Linux systems.
  • Establish performance metrics and KPIs, analyzing Linux infrastructure systems to identify improvement opportunities and implement optimization strategies.

Required Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience in Linux system administration and related tools, with a comprehensive understanding of Linux operating systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Linux Operating System Engineering or a similar role, emphasizing secure build patching and updates.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl for developing automation tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma plus 4 years of relevant experience).

Compensation and Benefits:

The typical pay range for this role is: $144,000 - $288,400.00. This range represents the base hourly rate or annual salary for all positions within this job grade.

The actual salary offer will depend on various factors, including experience, education, and geographic location.

This position is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
