About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team at The Travelers Companies, Inc. As a key member of our Enterprise Data and Analytics Unit, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy for our global business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy to drive business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with senior technology leaders to transform our current business and technology capabilities
  • Define and lead technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions
  • Partner with Software Engineering to execute proof of technologies and drive continuous technology transformation
  • Ensure alignment of IT initiatives with the target state and optimize talent strategy to ensure proper mix of resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 5+ years of technology architecture experience
  • Expertise in architecting and developing solutions in AWS, Databricks, and Snowflake (data engineering)
  • Exposure and understanding of advanced analytics techniques using ML and AI
  • Hands-on experience with data technologies on cloud and strong experience architecting big data solutions using Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and Data Products
  • Experience modernizing data technology and information architecture on cloud and strong grasp of value creation and business capability models
