Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Guidewire BillingCenter Business Architect. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in Guidewire BillingCenter and significant experience in transitioning legacy systems to Guidewire Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design Guidewire BillingCenter solutions, ensuring they align with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Formulate and execute strategies for migrating legacy systems to Guidewire Cloud, encompassing data migration, integration, and system configuration.
  • Engage directly with clients to collect requirements and align technological solutions with business strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of existing systems and processes, identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout the migration journey.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, delivering timely and effective solutions.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire technology and cloud computing.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Guidewire BillingCenter Business Architect, with a focus on transitioning legacy systems to Guidewire Cloud.
  • Thorough understanding of Guidewire BillingCenter, including its configuration, integration, and data modeling.
  • Strong grasp of cloud computing principles and technologies, particularly Guidewire Cloud.
  • Familiarity with out-of-the-box BillingCenter functionalities, such as invoicing, delinquency management, payments, commissions, general ledger, and casualty.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
  • Relevant certifications in Guidewire and cloud technologies (Ace/Professional/Associate GW Cloud Certification) are advantageous.
