Position Overview
As a key member of our finance team, you will oversee a range of financial responsibilities and projects that involve strategic planning, in-depth analysis, and comprehensive reporting. Your role will encompass the regular evaluation of financial outcomes, the formulation of financial forecasts and annual budgets, variance assessments, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and disseminate financial reports for the organization on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Construct financial models, validate data, analyze outcomes, formulate recommendations, and effectively communicate findings.
  • Collaborate with the Sales department to implement, assess, and manage the sales trade and discount framework.
  • Work alongside managers and directors in Marketing, Cost Accounting, and Supply Chain to deliver insightful analysis regarding inventory management, capital projects, and customer profitability.
  • Ensure uniformity in reporting formats and data sources; collaborate with Sales, Account Planning, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Production, and IT to maintain the integrity of deliverables and proactively address any issues.
  • Lead and support various projects across multiple departments to enhance efficiency and simplify processes within the company's ERP system.
  • Engage in cross-training with other accounting staff to provide backup support and foster process improvements.
  • Design and implement models and reports for the sales forecasting and budgeting procedures.

Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution is required, along with 3-7 years of relevant experience.

Language Proficiency: Ability to read, comprehend, and compose both simple and complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, including the capacity to deliver professional presentations and respond effectively to inquiries from management and senior executives.

Interpersonal Skills: A collaborative team player who is adaptable and embraces changing responsibilities.

Analytical Skills: Demonstrates confidence and maturity in decision-making and problem-solving with minimal supervision. Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Possesses strong analytical, quantitative, communication, problem-solving, and technical skills, with the ability to apply experience and common sense creatively across various scenarios.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with ERP systems and BI software (such as cube data and pivot tables) is preferred.

Work Environment: The position is based in a traditional office setting, with occasional travel required between offices and operational facilities.
