Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, essential functions are the fundamental job duties that an employee must be able to perform, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Welcome and assist all guests in a polite and professional manner; ensure guests are content with their accommodations and the overall cleanliness of the hotel; respond promptly to guests' inquiries and requests.
- Safeguard the well-being and security of our guests, staff, and the hotel while fostering a friendly atmosphere.
- Manage, confirm, and process guest check-ins/check-outs, room bookings, requests, modifications, and cancellations; handle payment transactions; verify and adjust billing as necessary.
- Educate guests about room features; provide directions and information regarding hotel amenities, services, operational hours, and local attractions.
- Accept and log wake-up call requests, forwarding them to the appropriate department; process all payment types, adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges; provide change as needed.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area; ensure adherence to all hotel standards and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors. This position requires working overnight shifts and demands an individual who can think critically and resolve issues while often working with minimal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Outstanding customer service abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule
  • Punctuality is essential
  • Professional appearance and grooming
  • Capability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
