Position Summary
:The selected candidate will be tasked with managing global forecasts for both new and existing products in the US and international markets. You will oversee the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) module to ensure inventory levels are maintained as per predetermined standards. This role involves reviewing production work orders for various manufacturing sites and entering the necessary work orders for production.
Additionally, you will manage scrap, prepare product run-outs, and handle supply chain logistics for new product introductions. Responsibilities also include setting up Item Numbers, maintaining Bills of Material, submitting Manufacturing ECOs, rolling out product revisions, and balancing inventory across global distribution centers.
Key Responsibilities
:- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Supply Chain system and its functionalities.
- Develop and uphold sales forecasts for both new and existing products by analyzing historical data to formulate logical projections for sales volume.
- Conduct independent analyses of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to ascertain inventory levels and ordering quantities for existing products, making critical decisions regarding these aspects.
- Update and maintain MRP files by uploading and/or modifying sales forecast documents.
- Review and analyze prompts from the Supply Chain system for production work orders.
- Evaluate and sustain inventory balance between production and distribution facilities.
- Examine production schedules to ensure timely product output, preventing stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Ensure the prompt delivery of goods and services, expediting products as necessary.
- Collaborate with Shipping to resolve low inventory and pending order issues.
- Assist the Forecasting & Planning Manager with additional forecasting tasks as required.
