We are in search of a remote, consultative Senior Market Account Executive in Maine to enhance our expanding sales team and drive significant growth in the New England region. As an HCM Account Executive at MP, your role will involve identifying and targeting organizations to communicate the MP value proposition and secure business agreements. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional skills in consultative sales and a proven track record in closing deals within the payroll, HCM, or HR services sectors.

This position is remote, with some local travel anticipated. Candidates must reside within the designated New England territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Formulate and implement a strategic sales plan aimed at generating new business opportunities and enhancing revenue.
  • Identify and qualify leads through various methods, including cold outreach, networking events, partner referrals, and online research.
  • Engage in consultative sales discussions with potential clients, gaining insight into their specific HR requirements, challenges, and business objectives.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of our HCM solutions, addressing critical pain points and illustrating how our offerings can enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, highlighting the features, functionalities, and advantages of MP's HCM solutions.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, fostering trust and credibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, marketing, and customer success, to provide seamless and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, negotiate pricing and contractual terms, and finalize agreements to achieve or surpass sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate and current records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management utilizing Salesforce.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving customer needs to identify new sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must reside in Maine.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of one year of experience as an Account Executive, Sales Representative, or in a similar capacity, with a focus on selling HCM solutions is essential.
  • Strong comprehension of business needs, challenges, and HR issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for building rapport, active listening, and establishing trust with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and motivated to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and software platforms.
