Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Paychex. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling Paychex HCM Products and services to new and existing clients, growing our client base, and increasing profits through the sale of Human Resource Services Solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new clients using referred or self-generated leads, leveraging the telephone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by Sales management.
  • Meet with clients to learn more about their businesses, analyze their needs, and present the Paychex HCM solution to key stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers' needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers in accordance with the client's preference on in-person or virtual interaction.
  • Schedule follow-up meetings with prospective clients, aligning Paychex HCM solutions with clients' needs, and preparing offer presentations and quotes using Salesforce CPQ tool.
  • Meet with clients to review sales quotes and agreements, addressing questions or concerns, and negotiating as needed to close sales.
  • Schedule appointments, meet with new and existing clients to upsell and cross-sell HCM solutions.
  • Analyze customer needs and interests using Salesforce data, determine which products are appropriate, and refer to appropriate partners when necessary.
  • Complete, ensure accuracy, and submit new sales-related paperwork, expense reports, and weekly activity reports according to agreed-upon dates set by sales management.
  • Build personal capability through acquisition and application of required technical, competitive, and sales skills and knowledge, ensuring successful attainment of sales objectives, quota, and achieving key performance metric targets.
  • Work with Paychex partners to expedite the resolution of client implementation resolution issues or related customer issues and/or complaints directed to sales.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree - Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in inside or outside business-to-business sales
  • Valid Driver's License Required
