We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to provide essential technology support to our staff across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Help Desk Support: Deliver desk-side and remote technical assistance to staff; diagnose and resolve issues. Responsibilities include resetting passwords, unlocking user accounts, troubleshooting network connectivity, installing peripheral devices, and configuring laptops and mobile devices. Address problem areas efficiently; escalate issues to the Managed IT Support (MITS) vendor as necessary. Conduct new hire technology orientation and basic application training as required. Manage the internal help desk ticketing system and ensure timely follow-up with staff.

  1. Inventory Management: Oversee equipment inventory for various departments, including desktops, mobile devices, and printers. Assist with upgrade projects and schedule changes to minimize disruptions. Maintain organized records of equipment maintenance and warranty information. Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
  2. Audio Visual Support: Manage and maintain audio-visual equipment in conference rooms. Coordinate maintenance with vendors and train staff on equipment usage. Develop user guides to assist presenters with system setup.
  3. Telecommunications Management: Oversee user access to the telecommunications system, including managing user accounts, configuring the auto attendant, call queues, and video conferencing protocols. Purchase, configure, and install new equipment, providing user training and documentation.
  • Cybersecurity Support: Assist in creating and scheduling simulated phishing emails for staff. Monitor completion rates, follow up with staff, and provide quarterly analysis to management.

Qualifications:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience: Preferred minimum of one year in IT support.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with various operating systems, including Windows 10 and Apple iOS. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2019 and Office 365 applications.

Essential Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
