Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and oversee sales strategies to maximize profitability from accommodations, meetings, banquets, and food and beverage services.
  2. Take charge of crafting and executing the approved marketing strategy for the hotel.
  3. Achieve optimal reservation yields for Accor properties globally.
  4. Conduct thorough research and identify potential markets for the hotel.
  5. Assist the Director of Sales in preparing and monitoring the Sales & Marketing action plan.
  6. Supervise and manage the hotel’s Sales & Marketing initiatives.
  7. Analyze market trends to assess our competitive position and implement necessary adjustments.
  8. Innovate and develop creative marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility.
  9. Identify new revenue-generating opportunities across all hotel departments.
  10. Prepare and submit required reports as per the schedule set by the General Manager.
  11. Engage with travel agents, tour guides, and conference organizers, showcasing the hotel’s facilities.
  12. Maintain comprehensive insights on local competitors.
  13. Ensure maximum sales growth from the hotel’s private line program.
  14. Host clients within the hotel premises as per the discretion of the General Manager.
  15. Represent the Marketing and Sales department in executive meetings.
  16. Adapt to changes in Marketing and Sales functions as required by industry standards or company policies.
  17. Assume full responsibilities of the Director of Sales & Marketing during their absence.
  18. Follow up on outstanding payments through discussions with the General Manager and Credit Manager, ensuring timely settlements.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or a degree in Hotel Management is advantageous.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales management role within the hospitality or tourism sector.
  3. Essential experience in revenue management.
  4. Proficient in social media analytics and data interpretation.
  5. Exceptional communication skills, both interpersonal and written, along with public/media relations expertise.
  6. A proven track record of effective leadership and team development.
