Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee sales strategies to maximize profitability from accommodations, meetings, banquets, and food and beverage services.
- Prepare and execute the approved marketing strategy for the hotel.
- Achieve a high yield percentage of reservations for Accor hotels globally.
- Conduct research and identify potential markets for the hotel.
- Assist the Director of Sales in creating and monitoring the Sales & Marketing action plan.
- Supervise and manage the hotel's Sales & Marketing initiatives.
- Analyze market comparisons to assess our competitive position and implement necessary actions.
- Innovate and develop effective marketing techniques.
- Identify new revenue-generating opportunities across all hotel departments.
- Prepare timely reports as required by the General Manager.
- Engage with travel agents, tour operators, and conference planners, showcasing the hotel’s facilities.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of local competitors.
- Ensure maximum sales growth from the hotel's private line program.
- Host clients within the hotel, in accordance with the General Manager's approval.
- Represent the Marketing and Sales department in executive meetings.
- Adapt to changes in Marketing and Sales functions as dictated by industry trends or company directives.
- Assume full responsibilities of the Director of Sales & Marketing during their absence.
- Follow up on outstanding payments through meetings with the General Manager and Credit Manager, taking necessary actions for payment resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or a degree in Hotel Management is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales management role within the hospitality or tourism sector.
- Essential experience in revenue management.
- Proficient in social media analytics and data interpretation.
- Exceptional communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and public relations.
- A proven track record of results-driven leadership and team development.
