Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Director, Business Development, Americas to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing, owning, and managing high-profile strategic partner relationships. Your expertise will drive business growth, innovation, and excellence in the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the Americas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in large partner organizations, driving strategic partnerships and collaborations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to prioritize, close, and manage high-revenue opportunities, ensuring successful deal execution and partnership activation.
  • Develop and implement innovative partnership approaches that leverage Circle's assets and tap into partner ecosystems and capabilities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with Circle leadership and key stakeholders to prioritize and manage strategic opportunities, driving business outcomes and ROI.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of Strategic Business Development experience, with a strong background in financial services, payments, or blockchain/digital asset technology.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and win high-impact strategic deals with a C-level audience.
  • Excellent territory and pipeline management skills, with the ability to prioritize across an expansive set of initiatives to maximize business growth.
  • Demonstrable ability to work alongside technical resources and meaningfully contribute to solution development for first-of-kind partner engagements.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills in English, with Brazilian Portuguese a significant plus.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base pay range: $232,500 - $290,000.
  • Annual bonus target: 25%.
  • Equity and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
  • Discretionary vacation policy and 10 days of paid sick leave per year.
  • 11 paid holidays per year in the U.S.
