POSITION SUMMARY

The Employee Engagement Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing PSSI's Employee Engagement Program in facilities with fewer than 50 team members. This individual is tasked with implementing PSSI's engagement policies for both new hires and trainers. A thorough understanding of the engagement principles is essential, as this person will communicate these concepts effectively to team members involved in the program, ensuring its successful execution within the facility. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To qualify for the role of Engagement Program Coordinator, candidates must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with local workforce agencies, partner with non-profits, suggest paid advertising, and engage with offsite recruitment efforts to attract potential candidates.
  • Screening and Tracking: Ensure all screening processes are completed and maintain the recruitment and retention tracking system. Present the New Applicant Video, conduct interviews, review candidates' work history, outline essential job functions, and communicate the benefits of a career with PSSI.
  • Onboarding Experience: Conduct initial orientation, complete necessary paperwork for new hires, and introduce the 30-day Challenge.
  • Trainer Coordination: Work with Operations to assign trainers to new hires, ensuring trainers are easily identifiable and utilize daily training cards.
  • Culture Maintenance: Schedule and participate in weekly meetings to reinforce the engagement culture, including debriefs with management and new hires, as well as training sessions with trainers.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to ascertain reasons for departure and collect company-issued equipment, ensuring timely processing of any necessary deductions from final paychecks.
