POSITION SUMMARY

This role is pivotal in leading PSSI's Employee Engagement Program (EEP) within facilities that employ fewer than 50 team members. The individual in this capacity is tasked with implementing PSSI's EEP policies for both trainees and trainers. It is essential for this team member to comprehend, articulate, and effectively communicate the principles of the EEP to all participants, ensuring the program's successful execution and outcomes within the facility. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to qualify.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

To be eligible for the position of EEP Coordinator, candidates must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Collaborate with local workforce agencies, engage with non-profit organizations, recommend targeted advertising, and partner with offsite recruitment sources to attract suitable candidates.
  • Screening and Tracking: Ensure all applicant screening processes are completed and maintain the recruitment and retention tracking system. This includes presenting the New Applicant Video, conducting interviews, reviewing employment history, clarifying essential job functions, and discussing the benefits of a career with PSSI.
  • Initial Experience Management: Conduct initial orientation, complete necessary paperwork for new hires, and introduce the 30-day Challenge.
  • Trainer Coordination: Collaborate with Operations to assign trainers for new hires, ensuring trainers are easily identifiable and utilize daily training resources.
  • Cultural Sustenance: Schedule and participate in three weekly meetings to reinforce the EEP culture, including debriefs with Site Management and new hires, as well as training sessions with trainers.
  • Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews to ascertain reasons for departure and collect any company-issued equipment, ensuring timely processing of deductions for unreturned items.
