Position Overview

The Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS) is seeking a dedicated Project Manager for our Information Technology division. This role is pivotal in orchestrating, executing, and overseeing a variety of ongoing and one-time IT initiatives that differ in complexity and focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project teams and facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions for assigned projects.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, budget constraints, and collaborative expectations.

Position Duration: This role is anticipated to be a limited duration position.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Computer or Information Science.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a field related to Computer or Information Science.
