Radiology Residency Coordinator

Job Overview:
This role is primarily focused on overseeing the Radiology Residency and Fellowship Programs, which typically host between twenty-four and twenty-seven residents and one to four fellows concurrently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process for residents and fellows, including ERAS and NRMP applications. Screen inquiries, organize responses, and process all incoming letters and applications.
  • Program Data Management: Maintain and produce reports for monitoring resident progress and supporting data for graduates. Ensure compliance with ABR, FRIEDA, and ACGME standards.
  • Program Reviews: Coordinate evaluations of faculty and residents, complete questionnaires for site visits, and arrange necessary site visits.
  • Resident Support: Organize weekly and monthly conferences, facilitate journal club meetings, maintain the resident library, and process travel reimbursements.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Program Directors and the Assistant Director.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of four years of professional or administrative experience, including at least two years in an educational program setting. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with seven years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with ten years of experience may be considered.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software is essential. Excellent organizational and time-management skills are required.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with MCG policies and procedures, as well as AUR and ACGME guidelines.

Work Environment:
