Radiology Residency Coordinator

Job Overview:
This role is pivotal in managing the Radiology Residency and Fellowship Programs, which typically encompass twenty-four to twenty-seven residents and one to four fellows at any given time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Oversee the recruitment process for residents and fellows, including managing ERAS and NRMP applications, responding to inquiries, and organizing candidate interviews.
  • Program Data Management: Generate reports to track resident progress and support data for graduating residents, ensuring compliance with ABR, FRIEDA, and ACGME standards.
  • Program Evaluation: Conduct evaluations of faculty and residents, process feedback, and prepare for site visits.
  • Resident Support: Coordinate conferences, journal club meetings, and manage the resident library. Facilitate travel arrangements and reimbursements for residents.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to Program Directors and the Assistant Director.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of four years of professional or administrative experience, including at least two years in an educational program setting. Alternatively, an Associate's degree with seven years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with ten years of professional experience may be considered.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with MCG policies, ACGME guidelines, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
