As a Hardware Engineer at Nutanix, you will be responsible for the planning, design, optimization, verification, and testing of electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and various digital/analog/RF/optical systems. Minimum Qualifications:


A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Hardware Engineering.

Alternatively, a Master's degree in the same fields with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or a PhD with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Hardware Engineering.


Preferred Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline is preferred, along with over 5 years of experience in Hardware Engineering or a related area.

Job Responsibilities:
Take ownership of scan insertion tasks.

Conduct validation of equivalence checks and troubleshoot any DRC issues, collaborating with the front-end team to ensure resolution of DFT DRCs.

Analyze and achieve ATPG coverage objectives.
Manage and deliver MBIST insertion, validating memory tests.
Oversee STA constraints and collaborate with the STA team to address timing violations.

Essential Skills:
Proficient in MBIST operations.
Expertise in utilizing Mentor ATPG tools and Synopsys' synthesis and SMS tool sets.
Experience in test coverage analysis and simulation of ATPG vectors and MBIST tests.

Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with LBIST, low power design, and scripting.

Level of Responsibility:
Work independently with minimal oversight.
Provide guidance and supervision to team members.
Decision-making may impact areas beyond the immediate team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to convey information effectively. Basic negotiation and influence skills may also be necessary.

Tasks will involve multiple steps that can be executed in various sequences; effective planning, problem-solving, and prioritization will be essential for successful task completion.
