Compensation: The anticipated salary for this role is $24.38 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:
  • Efficiently execute transactions using Bethpage systems in line with established policies and procedures, including the management of consumer, business, and fiduciary accounts.
  • Evaluate and determine the most suitable lending products for members, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product features and benefits.
  • Conduct all financial transactions, including teller duties and processing various deposit transactions.
  • Make informed decisions in compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory banking standards.
  • Recognize potential risks and escalate issues to supervisors as necessary.
Member Experience:
  • Act as a trusted advisor, employing a consultative sales approach to enhance branch market growth.
  • Provide sound recommendations for products and services that meet member needs, including referrals to business partners.
  • Deliver outstanding member experiences by building relationships, identifying needs, and resolving issues effectively.
  • Ensure high levels of member satisfaction through professionalism, accuracy, and timely follow-up.
  • Communicate effectively with members regarding promotions and services offered by business partners.
  • Assist members with technology and self-service options to improve their banking experience.
  • Support lobby management by welcoming members and managing traffic to minimize wait times.
Compliance:
  • Contribute to branch operations by participating in opening and closing procedures, daily reporting, and audit tasks.
  • Maintain necessary reconciliations and reports, including currency verification and balancing cash boxes.
  • Stay informed and comply with all policies, procedures, and banking regulations.
  • Identify emerging risks and fraud trends to protect both members and Bethpage.
  • Adhere to all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
Strategy:
  • Contribute to the overall success of individual and branch performance by meeting assigned goals and metrics.
  • Continuously improve sales conversations to foster member relationships and drive deposits and loans.
Technical Skills: Proficient in PC, Windows, and Internet applications.
