We are seeking a dedicated People Operations Coordinator who is passionate about the entertainment industry and eager to enhance our systems and processes. This pivotal role is essential for the success of our team and contributes significantly to the overall achievements of the organization.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of HR, this position will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of various HR and Talent Acquisition initiatives aimed at achieving hiring objectives, business support training, development programs, onboarding, retention strategies, HR/training metrics, and the establishment and implementation of HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Provide comprehensive HR administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including managing onboarding processes, performance evaluations, and responding to daily HR inquiries.
  • Offer guidance to employees regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle ad hoc data requests and distribute analyses of pertinent HR information.
  • Compile data for regular reporting and analysis, such as wage/salary assessments and retention metrics.
  • Perform general clerical duties to support HR department activities as required.
  • Oversee the offboarding process for departing employees, including COBRA administration.
  • Assist with departmental projects and events as necessary.

Talent Acquisition

  • Post job vacancies on various platforms and company career pages.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications.
  • Maintain communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.

Onboarding

  • Prepare onboarding materials and orientation schedules for new hires.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations to ensure a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Collect and process new hire documentation, including tax forms and benefits enrollment.
  • Introduce new employees to company policies, culture, and procedures.
  • Monitor the progress of new hires during their probationary period and provide necessary support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR operations or talent acquisition within a corporate environment.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced setting with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and quickly learn to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Capable of handling confidential information and interacting comfortably with senior executives.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (experience with UKG is a plus) and a basic understanding of employment laws.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000.
