Position Overview
As a Human Resources Operations Specialist at Regard, you will play a crucial role in assisting our People Team with various human resources functions.

Your main responsibility will be to manage the daily administrative tasks related to compliance, benefits, payroll, and onboarding processes while our People Operations Manager is temporarily unavailable.

The ideal candidate is someone who adapts quickly, excels in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and values teamwork.

This position reports directly to our Director of People Operations and is structured as a contract role.

Key Responsibilities
• Facilitate new-hire orientation and onboarding processes, including I9 verification.
• Ensure the accuracy of all benefit enrollments and employee personal information in our HR system.
• Manage incoming communications and requests from local, state, and federal agencies to maintain compliance.
• Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
• Document and oversee all payroll modifications and updates.
• Assist in coordinating and executing performance reviews.
• Support the implementation of internal processes and programs, enhancing current employee initiatives managed by People Operations.
• Ensure compliance by managing mandatory annual training, such as harassment and workplace safety.
• Collaborate with the People Team and other stakeholders to advance team initiatives and special projects aligned with business objectives.Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in human resources, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of HR experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a technology startup environment.
• Proficient in the implementation and management of an HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws.
• Competent in Mac, G-Suite, and Slack.Preferred Qualifications
• Strong project management skills with analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in prioritizing and multitasking in a dynamic environment with competing demands while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Background in employee onboarding and separations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is competitive, reflecting your skills, qualifications, and experience. The range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This contract role does not include benefits or equity compensation, but company perks may apply. Equal Opportunity Employer
