Position Overview
The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for executing the daily operations of the Human Resources (HR) department, which includes managing onboarding and offboarding processes, facilitating training sessions, and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
The HR Specialist will maintain the integrity of employee records within the department's databases, ensuring that all information is accurate and confidential. This role will also involve providing guidance and support to management on various HR-related matters.

Additionally, the HR Specialist will be tasked with ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and generating reports to aid in the smooth functioning of the HR department. They will be responsible for crafting and disseminating internal communications regarding employee status changes, benefits, and company policies.

Essential Duties
- Coordinate and lead orientation sessions for new employees.
- Assist in employee recognition initiatives, including firm events and internal communications regarding updates.
- Address routine inquiries related to timekeeping and ensure compliance with FLSA standards.
- Serve as a primary contact for general HR inquiries within the office.
- Execute routine tasks necessary for administering HR programs, including compensation, benefits, leave management, and training and development.
- Support the Lead HR Generalist with complaint intake, investigations, and performance management processes.
- Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate performance reviews and conduct exit interviews.
- Stay informed about trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in HR and employment law.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business, or a High School diploma with relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources is required.
- Experience in Talent Management administration is essential.
- Familiarity with Leave of Absences and Workers Compensation is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities are required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A personable demeanor is a must.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities are needed.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
- Must demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software is necessary.
- Experience with ADP is a plus.
