Position Overview: The Human Resources Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the organizational culture at WRNS Studio, ensuring a cohesive environment across multiple locations. This leader will work closely with executive management to design, implement, and oversee policies and practices that attract and retain exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Direct the daily operations of the HR and administrative teams, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategic objectives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with department heads across various functions, including finance and marketing, to enhance operational efficiency and foster a unified workplace culture.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Stay informed on industry trends and legal requirements, applying this knowledge to maintain compliance and communicate necessary changes to leadership.
  • Data Analysis: Lead the HR team in analyzing organizational metrics and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Program Administration: Oversee HR programs related to compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee wellness.
  • Policy Development: Design and implement HR policies and training initiatives that support the organization’s compliance and strategic goals.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with established policies.
  • Travel: May require travel to various studio locations as necessary.

Staff Development:

  • Work with senior leadership to define staffing and retention strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Facilitate training and professional development opportunities to enhance employee skills and engagement.
  • Oversee the performance evaluation process to ensure fair and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with recruitment teams to attract and select top talent.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to all employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Manage licensure renewals and immigration processes for employees.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience in human resource management is essential.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms is advantageous.
