Position Overview: The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer will serve as a strategic partner and report directly to the Executive Director (ED). The ideal candidate will take a hands-on approach in overseeing critical areas including finance, business strategy and budgeting, human resources, administration, and information technology.

Key Responsibilities: This role is essential in collaborating with the ED, Museum Director, and Board members in strategic planning and operational execution as Randall Museum Friends enhances its capacity to generate and effectively allocate resources that will support and enrich the Museum's distinctive programs, experiences, and environment. The Chief Financial and Administrative Officer will also manage a part-time bookkeeper.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably with an MBA/CPA or a related qualification.
  • 5-8 years of comprehensive professional experience, including at least 4 years in extensive financial and operational management. Experience in public-private partnerships is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with a talent for prioritizing, negotiating, and collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
  • Personal attributes: integrity, accountability, responsibility, respect, and a positive attitude.
