Key Responsibilities:

Position Overview:

The EVP of Human Resources is tasked with formulating and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives and strategic direction of the organization, particularly in the domains of Employee Relations, Internal Communications, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), as well as comprehensive HR strategic planning. The EVP, HR provides strategic guidance by communicating HR requirements and plans to the Chief People Officer and the executive management team. At Generali Global Assistance, we cultivate a culture of ethics and integrity, which includes accountability for maintaining a healthy control environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and that our employees complete the necessary training.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an executive HR role.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities; a data-driven, process-oriented mindset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations at local, state, and national levels, with an emphasis on California employment law.
  • Collaborative approach to engaging with internal stakeholders and experience in managing external third-party vendors.
  • A team player who approaches challenges with urgency.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with various human resources information systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations up to 25% of the time as required.

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification.

Travel Requirements:

  • Up to 25% travel.

Compensation: Pay Range: $190,000 - $220,000

Work Environment:

This position is hybrid, allowing for a combination of onsite and remote work.

Work Schedule:

While there is some flexibility in hours, this role typically operates Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Occasional overtime may be necessary based on business needs.
