Key Responsibilities:

Oversee nursing staff to ensure all patient care activities are conducted in a manner that enhances patient safety and minimizes healthcare errorsEnsure accurate documentation by nursing staff, including medical necessity records and updates to the Interdisciplinary Care PlanReview and assess risk and quality metrics, patient satisfaction data, and clinical outcomes to drive continuous improvement; communicate findings to the nursing teamGuarantee timely completion of patient charting by staffManage staffing schedules, nursing hours per patient day, and the quality of care provided by nursing personnelMay also have direct patient care responsibilities alongside administrative dutiesCoordinate and address rehabilitation care needs, including patient and family education and continuity of careAct as a clinical resource for patients and families throughout their rehabilitation journeyAssist with daily patient care coordination and resolution of issuesPerform additional duties as requiredQualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. BSN preferredCurrent unrestricted state licensure as a Registered NurseCPR/BCLS certification; ACLS certification preferredCRRN certification preferredA minimum of two years of prior nursing leadership experience is preferredA minimum of two years of experience in rehabilitation nursing is preferred
