Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct allergy testing and administer allergy injections as needed.
- Prepare and administer medications, including nebulized medication and patient education.
- Perform pulmonary function testing, FeNO testing, and peak flow monitoring.
- Provide patient education on medications and environmental control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Participate in department activities, including training and quality improvement initiatives.
- Diploma in Nursing (LPN/RN) with an active and unrestricted Nursing License.
- 1-2 years of nursing experience in an office setting, preferred.
- Previous allergy/asthma experience preferred.
- CPR certification required.
- Valid Driver's License required.
- Active CPR Certification.
- Acceptable results on Office of Inspector General, State Medicaid Exclusions, Abuse Registry Checks, Background Screenings, Drug Screen, and Sanction Checks.
- Ability to travel to satellite offices as needed.
The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care. The Clinical Nurse will work in a team-based environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
The Clinical Nurse will be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, bend, and sit for extended periods. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and the lighting is in the standard range. The employee is subject to infectious waste, potential exposure to allergens in concentrated forms, diseases, and conditions.
