Position: Account Manager
Overview:
As an Account Manager specializing in Commercial HVAC sales, you will play a crucial role in fostering sales growth and nurturing relationships with both commercial and governmental clients. This position requires a proactive and results-driven individual who will oversee the quoting process and service sales management. Your primary focus will be on promoting our full range of EMCOR services, including operations, maintenance, and repair solutions, while managing existing client accounts effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, research, and outreach.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and project teams to enhance commercial account strategies.
- Analyze and implement solutions to maximize sales growth and profitability within the assigned regions.
- Prepare and present tailored client proposals and business presentations.
- Draft and review comprehensive proposal documents, ensuring alignment with EMCOR’s standards and pricing models.
- Drive sales initiatives to achieve defined profit margins and expand market presence.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC commercial services.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC sales.
- Technical experience in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong presentation skills and a proven sales track record.
- Financial literacy and experience with budgeting.
- Ability to develop technical and cost proposals.
- Independent decision-making skills are essential.
- Proficiency in using Excel for data management.
