Position: Account Manager

Overview:

As an Account Manager in the HVAC sector, you will play a crucial role in fostering sales growth and nurturing relationships with both commercial and government clients. This position requires a results-driven individual who will oversee the quoting process and service sales, ensuring that clients receive the full spectrum of EMCOR's service offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new business opportunities through various channels.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and other teams to enhance commercial account strategies.
  • Analyze client needs and develop tailored solutions to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to clients.
  • Draft and review proposal documents, ensuring alignment with EMCOR's standards and pricing models.
  • Achieve defined sales margins to increase market share.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC commercial services.
  • At least 2 years of experience in HVAC sales.
  • Technical experience in Facilities Management is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong presentation skills and proven sales capabilities.
  • Financial literacy and experience with budgeting.
  • Ability to develop technical and cost proposals.
  • Independent decision-making skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data management.
