Job Summary

Foundation Risk Partners is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Account Management to join their team in Louisville, Kentucky Metro Region. This senior-level client-facing position requires a proven ability to manage a book of business, drive net book growth, and lead teams of Account Management resources across a book of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee overall FRP Delivery
  • Provide day-to-day leadership
  • Develop and implement Strategic Account Plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Develop and execute Renewal strategies
  • Consult on referrals and provide informed guidance on day-to-day servicing, Wellness coordination, Client Solutions Implementation, and Internal Record Keeping
Requirements
  • Exceptional understanding of full-range of insurance related products
  • Exceptional understanding of regulatory and compliance matters
  • Exceptional understanding of healthcare reform and related trends
  • Ability to develop multi-year overall benefits strategies
  • Strong attention to detail, well organized, and responsive
  • Ability to model financial implications from benefit programs
  • Ability to develop new and creative benefits solutions
  • Strong capabilities in negotiating with carriers
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to form relationships with C-Level Clients
  • Ability to up-sell services to existing clients
  • Ability to negotiate with clients
  • Ability to work well in teams
  • Ability to lead client teams
  • Ability to mentor team members
  • Ability to effectively switch between clients and tasks
  • Advanced working knowledge with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or 10 Years of Relevant Experience - RHU or CLU Preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a health and welfare carrier or broker providing account management services and support to clients of 100 lives or more. Minimum of 7 years of experience managing Account Management teams.
  • Appropriate Resident Life & Health License
