Job Overview

As a vital member of our team, you will report directly to the Installation and Service Manager (ISM). Your primary role will involve supporting clients, builders, contractors, architects, and designers to ensure the effective installation and maintenance of building materials. Our Carpentry and Service Associates are dedicated professionals who prioritize excellence and aim to meet the needs of end users, ensuring the seamless functionality of doors, windows, and various building products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the ISM with all facets of product service, repair, fabrication, and installation of doors, windows, and specialty millwork, whether on-site or in our facilities.
  • Maintain tools and machinery in our workshop, ensuring cleanliness and organization. Develop monthly maintenance schedules for equipment and facility systems.
  • Adhere strictly to manufacturers' guidelines and warranties in all work performed.
  • Ensure all products are installed safely and securely, guaranteeing proper flashing and optimal performance throughout their lifespan.
  • Respond to service requests promptly, within a 24-hour timeframe.
  • Coordinate vendor and manufacturer service programs as directed by the ISM.
  • Oversee and manage subcontractors when installation assistance is required on-site.
  • Conduct presentations on installation and service for architects, contractors, and carpenters as requested by the ISM.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, customers, and homeowners, adhering to our code of conduct and customer interaction standards.
  • Dress appropriately for safety and job requirements.
  • Participate in vendor workshops, training sessions, and manufacturing tours to enhance product knowledge and refine service and installation skills.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any disputes or issues that may arise.
