Database Administrator

As a key member of the Information Technology department at Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA), the Database Administrator will play a critical role in leading, planning, implementing, and maintaining the database and intranet environments.

  • Develop and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement database solutions to meet business needs and improve operational efficiency, leveraging expertise in data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other IT systems, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive database documentation, ensuring that knowledge is shared and transferred effectively throughout the organization.
