Role Summary

Key Responsibilities:
- Address issues related to laboratory equipment, test outcomes, specimens, and workflow.
- Engage in team collaborations or undertake special projects as assigned.
- Provide educational support to Clinical Laboratory Science students and new staff members, serving as a technical resource.
- Conduct quality control and maintain laboratory equipment as required.
- Perform standard and specialized laboratory tests, including chemical, microscopic, and bacteriological analyses.
- Prepare specimens and necessary reagents or solutions.
- Communicate test results to healthcare professionals and consult on findings.
- Review test outcomes to ensure accuracy and prompt correction of any discrepancies.
Additional Information:
Education Requirements:
● A Bachelor of Science degree is required. Candidates must meet eligibility criteria to sit for the MT exam within 12 months of hire.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
● Certification must be obtained within one year of becoming exam eligible.
Professional Experience Requirements:
● No prior experience is necessary.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
