We are seeking compassionate and committed individuals to fill the role of Behavioral Support Specialist II.
Role Significance:
As a Behavioral Support Specialist II at our facility, your contributions will be invaluable. You will play a crucial role in establishing a secure, nurturing, and interactive setting for our residents, enabling them to flourish. Your efforts will not only provide essential care but also infuse joy, comfort, and empowerment into the lives of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted Care Provider: Offer overnight supervision and assist residents with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, grooming, and medication management.
- Compassionate Response: Monitor and address medical or behavioral needs with empathy and professionalism, adhering to established protocols.
- Positive Environment Creation: Cultivate a warm and supportive atmosphere by encouraging social interaction, participation in enjoyable activities, and opportunities for skill development.
- Organizational Skills: Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and interventions to ensure optimal care for our residents.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside case managers, healthcare professionals, and family members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Comfort Maintenance: Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment through light housekeeping and regular safety checks.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in caregiving or working with individuals with IDD is preferred.

- A calm, patient, and empathetic demeanor, particularly in challenging situations.
- A basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adhere to healthcare protocols.
Work Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday
