Position Overview:

VML South Africa is in search of a Financial Analyst to engage in a range of daily tasks, including analytical reporting and various special projects as assigned.

The primary focus will be to assist Financial Leadership in financial reporting while fostering a collaborative environment throughout the organization, demonstrating dependability, independence, and effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaboration: Engage with internal account teams for job analysis.
  • Financial Insight: Prepare monthly revenue calculations and maintain comprehensive documentation for audit purposes, manage revenue forecast files across all Central Region offices, prepare weekly revenue presentations, assist in implementing audit compliance processes, provide guidance on client billing, and complete media cost reconciliations.
  • Security Maintenance: Uphold the highest level of security and confidentiality for all company and client records.
  • Process Support: Assist in accounting processes and procedures to ensure accurate accounting practices and reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of general accounting experience required.
  • Experience in Revenue Recognition is essential.
  • SOX experience is preferred.
  • Ability to understand and create formulas for use in computerized programs.
  • Proficient technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP is preferred.
