Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled P1 Plumber to take charge of the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including pipes and fixtures, essential for water distribution and wastewater management in residential properties. This full-time position will report directly to the General Manager and will be based in our expanding office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems
  • Conduct thorough plumbing inspections
  • Provide effective repair and maintenance solutions
  • Serve as a representative of our company, engaging with homeowners on a daily basis
  • Propose solutions and assist customers in making informed decisions regarding their plumbing systems

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in the plumbing field, with a desire for professional growth
  • A valid plumbing license issued by the state of Connecticut
  • Possession of a current Driver's License
  • Proficiency with technology, including the ability to navigate tablets and relevant software
  • A strong interest in career advancement and the potential to oversee other plumbing professionals

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

  • Safety is paramount; candidates must have a solid understanding of safe work practices and OSHA regulations
  • Regular duties will involve sitting, standing, walking, bending, and using hands for various tasks
  • Ability to climb ladders, work in varying temperatures, and navigate confined spaces is essential
  • Must be capable of lifting and moving items weighing 50 pounds or more
  • Work conditions may vary seasonally, requiring outdoor work throughout the year
