Currently, we are seeking a Part-Time Advanced Practice Nurse (20 hours per week) to join our dedicated team.


Role Overview:

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) employs clinical expertise to conduct thorough health assessments, formulate differential diagnoses, and prescribe both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.

The APN's responsibilities include implementing care plans through independent decision-making, health education, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and preventive health measures in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to assess patients' clinical conditions and healthcare needs.
  • Documenting physical findings and developing prognosis based on patient evaluations.
  • Providing clear discharge instructions to patients.
  • Collaborating with physicians and healthcare teams to create comprehensive care plans.
  • Prescribing medications and recommending various treatment modalities.
  • Referring patients to specialists as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records, including the use of Electronic Medical Record systems.
  • Educating and mentoring nursing staff on best practices.

Qualifications:

Candidates must possess:

  • Valid RN licenses and certifications.
  • Current nurse practitioner licenses and certifications.
  • State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable).
  • Federal DEA license.
  • Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • CPR certification (BLS or ACLS).

Preferred Experience:

A minimum of three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in settings such as ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice, or emergency departments is preferred.
