Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient examinations and review medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work and imaging studies.
  • Diagnose and recommend treatment plans for autoimmune disorders and arthritis.
  • Prescribe medications and administer IV infusion therapies.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and manage appointment schedules.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
  • Monitor overall patient health and promote wellness practices.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and research activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by supervising physicians.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology or related fields.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential.
  • Experience with joint injections is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient care standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical practice.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive outlook.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and clinical expertise.
  • Possession of a valid Nurse Practitioner license and DEA registration in Florida.
