The Small and Midsize Business Sales Team is in search of an Account Executive. This team is dedicated to marketing SAS software to the education, healthcare, and life sciences sectors across the United States.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Executive:
- Identify, qualify, and secure sales opportunities through proactive outreach via calls and emails.
- Foster and enhance relationships with current clients to keep them updated on new offerings and to promote increased usage of SAS solutions.
- Ensure renewals are secured within existing accounts.
- Collaborate with relevant resources within SAS that form part of your extended sales team.
- Contribute to driving business through our channel partners.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 2 - 5 years of professional experience in sales or prospecting.
- Familiarity with hardware and software procurement processes and decision-making influences.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Capacity to swiftly establish and nurture relationships with clients; adept at conveying technical and business concepts over the phone and relating them to SAS system applications and user requirements.
- Proficient in analyzing and assessing territory dynamics, crafting a sales strategy, and accurately predicting sales outcomes.
- Self-motivated, organized, and possessing excellent time management skills.
- A curious, passionate, authentic, and accountable individual. These traits are integral to our culture and influence all our endeavors.
