Overview:

MRC, a Xerox Company, is seeking a Managed Print Account Executive to support the greater San Diego, CA area.

This role is responsible for retaining and growing current accounts and gaining new market share. As a Managed Print Account Executive, you will work closely with the sales team to create opportunities within our current client base and new business.

You will effectively present our value proposition to internal groups, clients, and prospects, manage current clients with day-to-day needs and growth opportunities, and sustain benchmark activity levels.

This role requires excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency with Microsoft products, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the sales team to create opportunities within our current client base and new business
  • Effectively present our value proposition to internal groups, clients, and prospects
  • Manage current clients with day-to-day needs and growth opportunities
  • Sustain benchmark activity levels; appointments, workflow assessments, proposals, and database updates
  • Tele-prospect and field cold calling to acquire additional business from existing customers and prospective clients
  • Travel in local territory to local clients for onsite appointments
  • Conduct onsite walk-throughs at client's offices
  • Put together current state analysis and proposal recommendations for clients and have appropriate business acumen
  • Continuous education to become a world-class MPS Specialist
  • Share your knowledge with the sales teams you support on a daily basis
  • Gather data and actively listen to clients by using consultative methods to fully understand their business, uncover their problems, and identify impact areas
  • Complete associated paperwork and data analysis following each customer contact in a timely, accurate, and legible manner
  • Report daily activity, including contact information, appointments set, follow-ups, etc. Maintain a monthly sales and activity quota.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in business or other related field
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Personal drive and internal motivation toward high achievement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability; willingness to take risks and try new approaches
