Job Overview:

Apex Systems is seeking a dedicated HR Administrator/Generalist for a three-month contract position with the potential for permanent placement. This role is fully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage various HR functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Utilize HRIS systems effectively to maintain employee records and streamline processes.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including mentoring and performance management.
  • Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a generalist role or a similar combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred experience in higher education settings.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems such as Banner, ADP, or Res Nav.
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, capable of analyzing and presenting data effectively.
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience, including recruitment and team development.
