Burnett Medical Center Inc is currently looking for a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our dynamic laboratory team.
As a vital part of our healthcare facility, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests that are essential for patient care.
WORK SCHEDULE:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions with flexible hours. This includes responsibilities in both clinic and hospital laboratories, with a rotating on-call schedule (1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, and rotating holidays).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a generalist, your duties will encompass:
1. Phlebotomy
2. Urinalysis
3. Chemistry kit testing
4. Hematology
5. Coagulation
6. Immunohematology
7. Molecular testing
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Registered Medical Technologist certification or a four-year or Master's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Preferred one (1) year of experience in a hospital setting.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with patients, physicians, and fellow staff members. We value teamwork and a collaborative spirit in our work environment.
