As a Registered Nurse in Special Procedures Radiology, you will have the opportunity to unlock your career potential and contribute to the advancement of nursing practices while improving patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop care plans, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Radiology Department.
  • Assist physicians during operative procedures.
  • Maintain and review patient records, ensuring accurate documentation of tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications as per physician directives.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida or appropriate compact licensure; active Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire if compact license is held.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in procedural or interventional radiology nursing is advantageous.
  • Prior experience with administering conscious sedation is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
  • ACLS certification is preferred and must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer to this position.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, commitment to service excellence, and effective interpersonal communication abilities are essential.
